So, I don't know if any of you have ever had teachers use the site Turnitin.com as a way to submit papers, but I am gonna rant about it so here goes.
Basically, the site is used to check for plagiarism. It looks at your paper and compares it to other student papers that have been submitted, and even looks on the internet, to see if you copy pastad.
The problem is that it literally looks over EVERYTHING. For example, I just checked an old paper I turned in and it said I had 4% overlap on my paper. I paniced a little and clicked on it to see what was a match; turns out the portion highlighted as plagiarism was my MLA style heading, title, formatting, and then the question I was answering .-.
That's not the first time it has randomly done this though.... I've had it highlight quotes (which I had cited) and titles and author names... It's a lil rediculous...

Zombies. Let's get serious.
So with the ebola outbreak, and the fact that two infected doctors will be coming to the US, a friend and I were having a chat about the end of the world. Naturally.
We were having a friendly debate about zombies and he thought that zombies had to die as humans first to then become mobile again as zombies. Die first, then become reanimate. That made no sense to me... prepare your butt for a rant.
Think about it. Dying and then suddenly become reanimate.... that isn't possible, even in a world where zombies exist. They would still have to abide by the same laws of energy and matter the rest of the world does. Between rigor mortis setting in

Hey guys!
Sorry for the silence lately of submissions and journals, but I've been pretty busy. I currently am working on illustrating a children's book, and it's been so much fun!
Obviously, I can't disclose any specifics of the book since it is still in the works, but it does involve crafting a unique animal character, that has been both fun and frustrating. His name is Freddy and he is a pretty cool little dude, but that's all I can say.
Anyway, that's what's been up with me. Hope you are enjoying your summers!
